Summer Vacation

That's right! We finally got our vacation time in for Summer and we had such a good time in California visiting our family! It was so nice because this time we had a whole week and didn't have to worry about rushing back home. So our first stop was Cedar City, where we watched Dana's buddy Robbie in his scrimmage for SUUDaddy's twin!

Luckily we were able to leave early enough on Saturday to make it to Kailani's blessing on Sunday. We were so greatful to have Dana's dad conduct the blessing and have all of our family present.

even my sister & Gianna

Most of the time we spent in California was spent visiting family so Kailani got to meet her Great Grandma from my dad's side on Tuesday, and she was so excited to see how big Kailani was and how she already is so anxious to crawl.

We also got a chance to go to the Angels game with Cindy, Seth, my sister, her husband and kids.

Kailani also got to spend time with her twin cousins and Great Grandpa in LA. I think she loved her grandpa because he reminded her of her Papa here in Logan. She cuddled up with him and kept smiling the whole time.

One of the main things you always have to do in California is go to the beach, which was a perfect ending to a nice vacation.
here's Kailani with her Grandpa Chuck, she finally got used to the mustache I think!
here we are with our niece and nephews
LOL

Visiting Dana's grandparents the Gigi's. It's always fun listening to grandpas stories.
Our last stop going home was visiting my grandma's grave, I'm so glad we stopped by because we at least got pictures of Kailani next to her Great grandma's memorial

After a great week in California, I am so greatful for Seth and Cindy & Maggie and John Ray for allowing us stay at their place and spent whatever time they could with us! We also are greatful to come back to Logan where the weather cooled off in the week we were gone, crazy how cool it got after just one week, or maybe its just that we have been so warm in So Cal!

5 months and already a handful

These couple of weeks Kailani has been trying to crawl and it's the cutest thing. She doesn't understand that she needs to hold her head up at the same time as she pushes her legs so she ends up rolling around and getting frustrated. I think for her age she will sure is starting to do things early but I guess it's a good thing. I only hope she doesn't start walking soon and become a destroyer, she's alreay a diva! lol Anyway here are some pics of her favorite things to do....

Fun Weekend

I have to say this weekend was super exciting and I'm so exhausted, but it was worth every minute! First off my sister came to visit and she got here Thursday night, and surprised everyone, but myself since she had told me since like a week and a half ago! Anyway we had tons of fun and it was amazing to see my sister, her husband and the twins (who are so big); I can't believe how cute and big they have gotten in the past year! Anyway so we spent this weekend going to the pool, watching movies, visiting the Dinosaur Museum and of course Bear Lake. Oh and I forgot to mention that Dana's friend Daniel had also come down from Riverside so it was way fun having lots of people over.
We went to the pool on Saturday and had lots of fun watching the kids, Kailani even liked the water more than I would have imagined. On Saturday we visited the dinosaur's at the museum in Ogden and the kids were so excited, but kinda freaked out by the moving dinosaur display they had, I guess it can be pretty scary. Sunday we went to Bear Lake and rented jet ski's, which we could have just bought the new battery for ours and spent way less, but in the end we had fun and that's all the matters. It was way fun until Dana tried to do a 360 and ended up sending me into the water(don't worry he went down with me) lol.
All in all this weekend was the best times we've had yet and I can't wait to go to California in August and have another great vacation!
here's Dana and Ajeigbe with the fish they caught

It's time to Bounce!!!

Lately all Kailani has been wanting to do is stand up or sit down or play with toys, and for me it is so not fun holding her up after 5 minutes; she is just such a chunkers! Anyway so finally I went out looking for a good deal for activity centers/bouncer, I went to Wal-mart and Kmart but they were all like $45 and they were not that cute. So today I went to Sam's club where they had the one I originally wanted for $58 and it had gone down to $35!!! Yeah quite a deal and totally cute, anyway I just set it up like 5 minutes ago and she loves it! Here are some cute pictures of her playing on it. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

4th of July Weekend

We started our Fourth of July weekend on Friday, by going to see the Firework show at Romney Stadium at USU, it was Kailani's first time seeing fireworks and she absolutely loved it! I thought she might be scared but she smiled and watched the whole show with no problem- that is with the exception of Dana scaring when he yelled in her ear "Less talk more Fireworks!" I've got to say it was pretty funny.

Hi there!
tired of pictures! Saturday morning we headed out to Bear Lake! Which turned out to be Kailani's first time at the Lake, eating licorice, and boat ride! I've got to say it was amazing to see how she enjoys everything we do. I just can't believe how big she's gotten and her cute personality, she's definatley going to turn out to be a little bit of a diva someday! lol
