Baby Shower!

On Sunday my mom & Dana threw me a baby shower it was so much fun- especially with the games. We got whole bunch of clothes, a couple bags of diapers, blankets, the whole works! Here are some pics from the shower.

Baby

5 Weeks to go! Oh my goodness I am so excited to be done with this whole pregnancy thing, even though maybe when she's born I might want her back in my belly-- I don't know how much longer I can take with backaches and heartburn, it really is insane. I think I've had back aches for the past 3 months- every single day & the heartburn is the worse; waking up in the middle of the night with heartburn feels so gross! Anyway point being is I'm done being preggers & excited to be official mommy!

So the past couple weekends I've been trying to piece together Kailani McKenzie's room! I've still got a couple things to go but its all turning out really cute!

This year we spent New Years at my parents house, it was a little bit different because we didn't spend it with my whole extended family, but it was still fun!

We spent the night playing games, listening to music & watching the kids dance! It was pretty laid back but totally worth it. Oh also I joined Dana earlier that day to get a haircut & decided I needed a change as well so I chopped off my hair even more! It looked weird since i'm not used to short hair like this but its so much easier to manage. Anyway I don't really have a new year resolution this year besides getting this baby out of my belly in the next 7 weeks & losing weight. Anyway Happy New Years!

Christmas Fun!

Christmas! What a wonderful time of year, at least thats how its supposed to be right? Holidays this year have been kind of blah, until I'm with the people that actually care it makes it all worth while. It was fun playing games uno & Taboo & hanging out with all the family, I think the highlight of the night was when all the girls started caroling! It was so cute but yet I wanted to cover my ears, they are so loud and squeeky!

However, I've got to say Christmas Eve was ok, I really just wanted the night to be over so I could come home and sleep then have a good tasting Christmas dinner my parents house.

31 weeks and counting!

So I'm now 31 1/2 weeks pregnant I've got about 9 weeks left and this baby I think is ready to come out! I really didn't realize how big I was until I took pictures! Anyway this week has been tough- only because its getting harder to sleep, she moves ALL day in the weirdest directions; kicking my insides where I never thought she would and not to mention the strain on my bladder! Anyway as you can tell I am so done being pregnant and can't wait for little Miss Kailani Teague to come out!

So this weekend Dana and I decided to get out of town and go visit our friends Robbie & Brooke down in Cedar City, for some reason we didn't get any pictures at all, but it was really fun to get out of Logan, Ut. Oh and before we left Dana found an English Bulldog online for a good deal and knowing how much I've always wanted a Bulldog my wonderful husband bought me the dog which is names Emmie, but we've renamed her Roxy or Dana calls her Meaty! She's really good and house trained and just lays around all day.

Anyway we decided to leave Friday night thinking it was about a 3hr trip but it acually was a 5.5 hour trip since we got stuck in traffic in Salt Lake and didn't get there until about around 10:45. Saturday morning we went to St. George and Hurricane where we went to the "Man made Lake" which was pretty cool and then we went to Sue's Pet Shop where they had all types of animals it was fun. I think the best part was getting In'n'Out & bowling we haven't done either in months and it was so good!

Oh the Holidays! I've got to say Thanksgiving was really fun, we headed over to Brigham City to my aunts house and had Thanksgiving Dinner there. For Dinner we usually stick to the basic Turkey and Ham deal & potato salad that was so delicious!

After dinner we played Uno, Taboo(that was my favorite) and not to mention listen to my dad and family do Karokee! I have to say it was funny that he would not get off the mic once those crazy spanish songs came on and it was hilarious! Anyway here are some pics of the night.
