Weekend fun?

First of all, let me begin by saying thank goodness we got through this weekend!

On saturday, we hung out with Dana's brother Chuck all day for beginners they both went out in the morning to get some concert tickets for Nicole to see AI in concert, well when they got home little did I know my husband bought me No Doubt concert tickets, which has turned into my Mother's Day & Anniversary Day present! I'm so excited to see them in concert they are one of my all time favorite bands....

Anyway so saturday was all fun and games until we decided to take the dogs out to the park and run around. So we drove over to first dam hoping it wouldn't be too full, but as we drove by there were tons of people and a no dogs allowed sign! So Chuck is driving his huge truck with Lexi & Meaty in the back, when all of a sudden Chuck yells out MEATY! Meaty had decided to jump out of the truck watch us leave and make her way to the park! I guess she figured that was her stop! lol Luckily no one ran over her and we were able to see her off the side of the road and pick her back up and put her inside the truck. So we continue driving with Lexi still in the back, and I'm holding her leash just in case she decides to jump out, well 5 min later we are driving to Von's park and we hear something hit the truck! All of a sudden we turn around Lexi's gone I'm still holding her leash and I let go and we feel us going over her body!!! OMG It was the worse feeling in the world, to think we had just killed our own dog! So we stopped and Dana could get out of the truck to see her laying on the floor so I jump out of the truck and see her laying there with her legs under Chucks big tires and luckily when he pulled forward she got right up and just had some scratches and cuts on her legs but nothing major, thank God nothing happened to her and she's still alive and runs around as if nothing ever happened!

Anyway so after our scare on Saturday, Sunday was Mother's Day and I'll make this fast because Kailani is having a fit! It started off ok, Dana didn't say Happy mothers day until 3hrs after I had woken up, we went to my mom's church which was having a bbq at the park. Dana kept bugging to leave, so that he could come home and I can help him garden! I think that should explain it all I was really bugging about him wanting to work on Mother's Day and do what he wanted to do! So I left him and went to my parents house and spent the rest of the day with them so overall Sunday way just that just another Sunday!
