*What an amazing weekend*

This past weekend was simply amazing, fun, and such a blessing!

First off we started off by having my baptism on Saturday, and I have to say it was great amazing! Everyone kept asking me if I was nervous but it kinda felt natural to me.

Anyway, some of our family came in from California to witness the beginning of a great life ahead, and of course some of my family was there as well. The service was really quite an experience I got all of Dana's brothers & sis in law's to participate and I can't ever thank them enough for that!
To begin Cindy (my sis in law) did the opening prayer and set the tone for the rest of the baptism, I really felt the spirit that was there and I know I didn't tell anyone this but with her words she reassured me that this was the right thing to do (thanks Cindy!) After Cindy, Seth went up and talked about baptism and he did such a great job, I think it must have been the missionary in him. We then went onto the baptism part which was the most amazing part of the day, we were lucky enough to have Dana conduct the baptism and even though he was so nervous he totally didn't show it and he did so good. I can't express how happy I am that he was able to do that, it is just such a blessing.

Finally, Chuck was the one who conducted the confirmation, he did such a good job, I really wasn't expecting all of the wonderful words that were spoken not only from him, but from everyone that day! You guys are simply the best there is!

On Sunday we were able to go to sacrament and then hang out at Bear Lake. The funny thing is I had read that there might be afternoon thunderstorms but regardless Dana still wanted to go. So the whole way there it was bright and shiny until we got to the actual beach and it started coming down. Luckily Kailani and I were able to sit it out in the car and after about 30 min it was better weather. So we were able to have a bon fire and bbq carne asada(yum), and goof around a little bit.

On Monday we were supposed to go to Park City but since it was cloudy we just decided to go down to Ogden to a little amusement park where we did Wall Climbing, Go cars, Laser tagging and Miniature golfing. It was so much, except that I realized I'm afraid of heights so I wasn't able to get all the way up with Wall Climbing. Not to mention Kailani was such a good baby the whole time and allowed mommy and daddy to have some fun.

Here's Kailani sitting up by herself on the carousel!

haha I love this picture!

I also forgot to mention that Austin (Dana's cousin) and his wife also came up to visit, and I have to say Amanda is hilarious! Overall, we had a great weekend and we had so much fun!

headbands & hair clips!!!

I've been trying to get time to do all of the headbands to start selling and today I finally made some extra time! With Kailani falling asleep at 8:30 lately I had some time to really play with different styles and I have to say its actually kinda relaxing after a long day! Anyway here is what I came up with, hopefully I will continue making more and post an etsy page.

These first ones I actually made for my niece a while ago...

And these are the ones I just made tonight!

Same bow different headbands...

The last two (blue & red) are some of my favorite!

Awesome Concert!

Last night I finally got to enjoy my Mother's Day gift. We went to the No Doubt concert and it was one of the best I've been to, not only was No Doubt ther but so was Paramore! Everyone went crazy and it was just amazing! Dana was worried about getting in a mosh pit, but luckily that didn't happen, however we had floor tickets so it was pretty crowded and you get into the whole jumping, & clapping and all that jazz. Overall, we had a great time and Gwen was amazing, she also had her son Kingston come out on stage and since it was his birthday we all sang 'Happy Birthday' it was so cute!
having fun!

Thank God!

Spring is finally here!!! We've had upper 70 degree weather lately and it's wonderful!!!
Anywho...Lately I've had a lot of random things come up, I feel like I'm always busy! This weekend we had a birthday party for my niece & nephew while the kids had fun with their games we decided to have a friendly boy vs girl tug of war, it was really fun and unfortunately the boys won.
Anyway it was also fun to see my cousin Raymond, he's a truck driver and had a load up in Salt lake so he was able to spend time with us here in Logan. The funny thing is he just turned 23 and he totally made me realize how I've grown up in the past year, one of the things that he said to me that stood out was "Wow, you're not the same Cindy I know" I think at first it was hard to admit and it kinda bugged me, but when I thought about it, he's totally right I don't drink, I don't party and I go to church , and I have a family to worry about so how could I be the same person? As I thought about all of these things it hit home hard I love the way my life has changed in the past year and I wouldn't change that for anything in the world.
Dana and I just had our 1 year anniversary on Sunday and I can't say how happy I am to have married such a great person and I hope for a lifetime of eternal happiness with our beautiful daughter.
On a side note, I also set a date for baptism, June 13th! I'm really excited for everything and I'm glad that God has given me the anwers to the questions I've had. At first it was a little scary to explain it to my mom, but she reasurred me that as long as I'm happy and believe in God that she supports my decision and I'm so very thankful for that blessing....Anyway, if you have a chance it will be at the Tabernacle at 630.
Oh I also wanted to share that I finally got a stroller! We were going to spend $80 but we got a great deal on one for $28!!!! I was so excited that we can finally go on walks!

now that Jr see's us feeding the babies he loves to pretend he's feeding his..:)

Weekend fun?

First of all, let me begin by saying thank goodness we got through this weekend!

On saturday, we hung out with Dana's brother Chuck all day for beginners they both went out in the morning to get some concert tickets for Nicole to see AI in concert, well when they got home little did I know my husband bought me No Doubt concert tickets, which has turned into my Mother's Day & Anniversary Day present! I'm so excited to see them in concert they are one of my all time favorite bands....

Anyway so saturday was all fun and games until we decided to take the dogs out to the park and run around. So we drove over to first dam hoping it wouldn't be too full, but as we drove by there were tons of people and a no dogs allowed sign! So Chuck is driving his huge truck with Lexi & Meaty in the back, when all of a sudden Chuck yells out MEATY! Meaty had decided to jump out of the truck watch us leave and make her way to the park! I guess she figured that was her stop! lol Luckily no one ran over her and we were able to see her off the side of the road and pick her back up and put her inside the truck. So we continue driving with Lexi still in the back, and I'm holding her leash just in case she decides to jump out, well 5 min later we are driving to Von's park and we hear something hit the truck! All of a sudden we turn around Lexi's gone I'm still holding her leash and I let go and we feel us going over her body!!! OMG It was the worse feeling in the world, to think we had just killed our own dog! So we stopped and Dana could get out of the truck to see her laying on the floor so I jump out of the truck and see her laying there with her legs under Chucks big tires and luckily when he pulled forward she got right up and just had some scratches and cuts on her legs but nothing major, thank God nothing happened to her and she's still alive and runs around as if nothing ever happened!

Anyway so after our scare on Saturday, Sunday was Mother's Day and I'll make this fast because Kailani is having a fit! It started off ok, Dana didn't say Happy mothers day until 3hrs after I had woken up, we went to my mom's church which was having a bbq at the park. Dana kept bugging to leave, so that he could come home and I can help him garden! I think that should explain it all I was really bugging about him wanting to work on Mother's Day and do what he wanted to do! So I left him and went to my parents house and spent the rest of the day with them so overall Sunday way just that just another Sunday!
