Our Fam BamFinally baby Kailani McKenzie Teague was born after a 12 hour labor on Thursday Feb 19, 2009 at 7:40 am! She weight 7.1 lbs and and 20 in long!
I was admitted to the hospital at 7pm and induced by 8, I tried to take the pain & do without the epidural but by midnight the pain proved to much, and I requested the epidural, which did hurt but was worth it, I don't think I could have taken the pain for another 6 hrs! Its really crazy to think how our mothers & grandmothers did it without ant meds I can totally give them a huge pat on the back for that! Anyway by 3am I am 6.5 cm dialated and 30 min later I was 8 cm, I was so ready to go, but the nurse stopped the pitocin meds so it kinda slowed it down & it look until 6:45 am to reach a full 10 cm by 7am I was pushing & by 7:30 my dr came in and about 10 pushes & 10 min later baby was born! It was extremely exciting & overwhelming to hear & see baby out after 9 months, and yes I did cry! Anyway after two days in a hospital bed i was ready to come home which we were supposed to be home by 4 pm on Friday but didn't come home until 630 Dana& me were so annoyed to have spent nearly 3 hrs extra at the hospital in this confined room. Anyway we're finally home &baby is all healthy and happy to be home!

Yeah!!! I'm so glad you posted pics!! Chuck showed me a cute pic on his phone yesterday, but it's fun to see more. She is beautiful and I'm so happy for you that she's finally here! How fun. I hope that she's a good sleeper. Congratulations!
Yay! Kailani is finally here! We cannot wait to see her. She is such a pretty baby. We're probably coming up the last week in March. Will fill you in with details!
AWW!! I love my little Kailani!! She reminds me of Gianna when she was a baby!! You know they're probably going to be really close They're both little white girls lol! I hope john ray lands a new job soon!! so we can go see my beautiful Niece I can't wait to hold her and nibble her chunkie LEGS!! I miss you all soo Much! I Love you!!Isn't it a great feeling being a mommy!
